Blindworm ft CJ Rads – Running Up That Hill
There’s something special about watching new talent take flight. Running Up That Hill marks the debut release for vocalist CJ Rads (Cameron Radford), recorded here at Fidget Studios and released on Fidget Music.
The track is a stunning rework of the Kate Bush classic, produced by Blindworm — the collaborative alias of Barry Diston and New Dave. It combines atmospheric synths, modern electronic production, and Cameron’s powerful, soulful vocal to deliver a fresh take that bridges generations of sound.
Recorded and mixed entirely in-house at our Coventry studio, the project showcases exactly what Fidget is built for: blending new voices with experienced production to create music that connects emotionally and sounds incredible on any system.
For Cameron, this first release was more than just a track — it was the beginning of a journey, stepping into the industry with a sound that’s both classic and forward-thinking. We couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out.

RedScope brings it full circle with ‘Am I On Your Mind’ featuring Vicky Jackson
Sometimes things just come full circle. RedScope’s latest release Am I On Your Mind featuring Vicky Jackson was filmed at Little Heath Industrial Estate — the very same place where the first Fidget Studios began many years ago.
Released through Fidget Music in colllaboration with Lady J’s Artist Management and label manager Lee ‘The President’ Hepworth, the track quickly gained traction and climbed into the UK Upfront Club Chart at #12. The release also arrived with a full remix package including versions by Lee Hepworth, Richard Harrington, Roox, and a Tropical Remix by Mau Kilauea.
The project was built and mixed here at Fidget Studios, bringing together a team of long-time collaborators who’ve each been part of the Fidget journey over the years. Vicky’s powerful vocal performance and RedScope’s modern production created a record that balances nostalgia with forward-thinking club energy.
The official music video, filmed at the original Fidget site, captures that connection between past and present perfectly. Watch it below:
Massive thanks to everyone involved — it’s always special when a release reminds us how far Fidget has come and how strong the creative family behind it still is.

DJ Stookin hits Toolbox Digital Top 10 with Candy Crush
Massive respect to our good friend DJ Stookin (aka Lee Strachan) for flying the Fidget Black flag high. His latest Hard House release Candy Crush, released on Fidget Black, has just landed in the Toolbox Digital Top 10 — sitting proud at #9 in the chart.
We caught up with Lee via remote studio session to talk about the release and his long-standing connection with Fidget Studios.
Hi Lee, first of all congratulations on the track! How does that feel?
It feels really good thanks! I’ve known Barry for a number of years now and we’ve done quite a few tracks together. It’s great to have this one out on Fidget!
Tell us a bit about you?
My name is Lee Strachan and I live in a small village called Kemnay in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I’m married with a son and have been DJing for 24 years while producing for 13 years.
Candy Crush — tell us about the track?
The track is a remake of one of my all-time favourite house tracks from 1995 by the Candy Girls. I hope I’ve done it justice!
What are your musical influences?
I’ve been musically influenced by Carl Cox, Bass Generator, BK, Barry Diston and Nick Sentience.
When are you at your most creative?
I’m most creative when I’m in the studio — or I’ll hear something random like a sound from a TV advert, someone whistling at a bus stop, or a seagull attacking my wife’s car wipers!
Anything lined up in the future?
I’m looking forward to putting out more music. I’ve got a strong follow-up in the pipeline that’s currently in the works at the studio.
We’ve had a sneak peek at what’s coming next — but our lips are sealed for now. In the meantime, turn it up and enjoy Candy Crush, available on all major platforms now.

Ria D hits UK Upfront Club #12 with Fidget-built EP
Big congratulations to vocalist and DJ Ria D as her Trust / Everything EP, released through Fidget Music, stormed into the UK Upfront Club Chart at #12. The project was recorded, produced, and mixed right here at Fidget Studios, Coventry, released in collaboration with Lady J’s Artist Management and Lee 'The President' Hepworth managing the release.
Ria brought serious energy to the studio sessions, combining her club experience and vocal talent to craft a record built for the dancefloor. The result is a polished, high-impact release that connects underground roots with a modern commercial edge.
The track’s success didn’t stop there. The official music video was picked up for rotation on MTV UK, Heart TV, Capital TV, and Clubland TV, giving Ria D and the Fidget team well-earned national exposure.
Huge respect to Ria and everyone involved in the release — another great example of what’s possible when artists and the Fidget Studios team work together from concept to completion.

Fidget Studios Powers Lee Hepworth’s Top 10 Club Chart Smash
It all started at Fidget Studios one year ago, when Lee ‘The President’ Hepworth came in to work on a surprise anniversary project—a high-energy dance rework of the Foreigner classic I Want To Know What Love Is. Fast forward 12 months, and that very track has just hit #6 in the UK Upfront Club Charts and #1 on the Kings of Spins DJ Chart.
The track, which features vocals by US artist Jacob Kondrath, was brought to life here at Fidget Studios with production, arrangement and mixdown handled by Lee in collaboration with Barry Diston, Richard Harrington and New Dave. The entire remix package was built, polished and finalised using our in-house expertise and studio systems.
What began as a deeply personal idea quickly evolved into a fully cleared, officially licensed cover—thanks to the hard work of the Fidget team and the support of Lady J’s Artists on the A&R and management side.
This marks the third UK Top 10 hit in a row for projects produced at Fidget Studios, continuing our track record (no pun intended!) of taking high-quality, emotionally driven music and transforming it into club anthems with major DJ support across the globe.
Huge thanks and congratulations to Lee, Jacob, and everyone involved in the project—and a big shoutout to our in-house engineers and collaborators for their outstanding work in the studio.
